Someone made this argument today, and on one hand I get it, but on another, it’s counterproductive. Anyone who is not a member of your minority group who tries to spread the message is patronizing, therefore your message will not spread as fast and, honestly, since no one but the members can support it, will never be supported by the mainstream, which is the POINT of trying to change society.
