Be a SJ Ally, not a SJ Sally, I will never understand why certain social justice advocates seem to fail to understand that attempting to educate people in a respectful manner actually works. Yes, I know you’re not teachers, and it’s not your job and you’re not being paid for this. But you can’t just throw someone who has existed in their own little bubble of privilege their entire life into the world of isms and phobias and privilege checklists and ze/hir and expect them to immediately adapt and know everything.
